I have been a practicing attorney in the Detroit metropolitan area since 1990. After working as a legal aid lawyer practicing family law, I transitioned to a QDROs, EDROs, and DROs drafting business in 2012. I have personally drafted over 9,000 orders, gaining a full understanding of the complexities of different pension plans and the statutes that apply to qualified domestic relations orders in Michigan.
After working for a QDRO drafting company for 8 years, I was laid off due to the global coronavirus pandemic. During my time with this organization, I formed relationships with many family law attorneys throughout the state of Michigan. I eventually became recognized as a knowledgeable, responsive problem solver with a deep understanding of both drafting procedures and Michigan family law. I strive to draft a QDRO pursuant to the Judgment and send it out to the attorney as quickly and thoroughly as possible.
When I am not drafting QDROs I am planning my next trip to the Detroit Symphony Opera, Fox Theater, or going to a play at the Fisher Theater in downtown Detroit. I also enjoy traveling and in the past two years, have visited Nashville, New Orleans, Savannah, and other various locales across Michigan.
By having a virtual law practice, I will always be able to provide seamless service and responsiveness. That means that I am available in the evenings and weekends, if necessary.
Turn-around time matters. From the time I have all the documents and material I need to draft a QDRO, the QDRO will be drafted and sent out within a reasonable amount of time. If the QDRO is sent for preapproval and requires revisions, the QDRO will be revised promptly. My job is not done until your Court-entered Order is qualified by the Plan.
My price point per QDRO is less than my competitors providing you with more value per dollar spent..
